Hello everyone,

I'm Sapir Shamis, 23-years-old from Ashdod, and I'm excited to lead Matar this year.

I'm a Tzofim girl at heart! I joined the organization in the 8th grade and from there it's history.  After completing my senior year in high school, I proceeded to a year of service in the Tel-Aviv-Jaffa Tzofim branch, followed by my IDF service in the Intelligence Corps.  Upon my discharge, I returned to Tzofim, in the Sorek region.  I was a Shachbag counselor for a year, and up to my arrival at Matar I filled the position of Merakezet in Shevet Idan, Gan Rave.

Apart from scouts, I enjoy dancing Afro and Dancehall, as well as gym workouts.  Additionally, I'm completing my fencing instructors' course.​
